Hello!

After a month or so with no internet (living with my folks again, so I wouldn't have to worry about final bills right before going off to Basic in a little over a week from now), I figured I'd hop in and say hello, as well as post a sketch I was working on.

I was quite surprised at DA's new interface... everything looks much brighter and cleaner, and possibly more customizable? Since I'm just posting from a friend's house at the moment, I don't have a whole lot of time to really check everything out.


So anyways, I'm really looking forward to spending the next couple of months in Texas, away from all the snow (in the past few days, we've gotten roughly a foot!). Yes, I won't have an easy time there by any means, due to what I'll be there for... but at least the weather will be nice.

I'll either have my computer sent to me, or just get a laptop or something (as my current PC is 7 years old) when I get to Monterey in April, and hopefully have enough free time to keep up with art and the goings-on on DA again in between studying and such.

To finish, I just thought of something fun to add:

For each of your characters, think of a theme song that would be appropriate for them. In other words, which song "sounds like the character."
HARD MODE: For those songs which have lyrics, the lyrical content must also fit the character, in tone and/or concept.

Richter Mitchell / Phobos: "April Fool" by Soul Asylum (it sounds a hell of a lot better on the album... but believe it or not, this was actually the highest quality version I could find online... )
Heather Dawes / Enyo: "3 Minute Warning" by Warlock
Justin Mitchell / Deimos: "Heroes of Our Time" by Dragonforce
Amanda Owens / Nemesis: "Land of Immortals" by Rhapsody
Adrian Kadmon: "My Time" by Earshot (though, "Jesus Christ Pose" by Soundgarden would be a close second)

EDIT: Now, with links for the songs! Some of them are louder than others... be warned when going from "My Time" which is very quiet (you'll have to crank the hell out of that one to hear it; surprising since it's the second-newest song in the list...) to "Jesus Christ Pose," which is as loud as I've ever heard on a YouTube video.
